Renter's Insurance

Renters (residential & commercial) - You need renters insurance - take note! Your contents (clothes, furniture, personal belongings, merchandise, etc.) in a rented apartment, house or building are not covered by a landlord in times of a crisis such as water loss, fire, or other emergency/unplanned disaster.

Read your rental agreement and make sure you know how things are handled during a disaster situation.

If you are not covered, take ownership and make sure you solve this issue because a pipe bursting - a fire - a micro-burst coming through your neighborhood - none of this is good and it will cost you more money in the end. Talk to an insurance professional to protect yourself - your family - your business.

It is important to protect your belongings before an issue happens!

Don't toss out scissors that don't seem to be cutting well any more. Simply give them a quick and easy sharpening by occasionally cutting through a piece of 150-200 grit sandpaper. This will give them a fresh edge to make them seem new again! #TipTuesday
